I would direct resources to technology for additional efficiencies, thus saving money.List any of your relatives (including those related to you by marriage, and nieces/nephews) who are on the public payroll in Illinois, their jobs and who they work for.NoneDescribe your position on transparency in the office and the ease of access to records by the public. If you believe improvements are needed, what are they and how would you go about achieving them?I believe the office is transparent and it will continue to be so when I am Recorder. The ease of record access is already very good, the area I would concentrate on is the turn around time. That is the time it takes for the office to release the information to the public after receiving a document for recording. The office can also work more smoothly with other branches of government. I would address these things with regular reviews and a willingness to work with others. Please list any elected office you've ever run for and what the result of that election was. Have you ever been appointed to fill an unexpired term?None, I have never ran for election. Nor have I filled an unexpired term for an elected office. What other issues, if any, are important to you as a candidate for this office?Issues that affect the lives of McHenry County's residents. Like transportation, attracting more businesses, clean water and lower property taxes. Please name one current leader who most inspires you.I'm inspired by strong women, they are everywhere. What is the biggest lesson you learned at home growing up?Always do the right thing, especially when it is unpopular. If life gave you one do-over, what would you spend it on?I would have married my husband sooner and we would have more children. What was your favorite subject in school and how did it help you in later life?I excelled in math and have always been good with numbers. My math skills have served me well in my years of Title Insurance. If you could give your children only one piece of advice, what would it be?Do what makes you happy and everything else will fall into place.
