Aurora Christian Schools joins McTeacher's Night at North Aurora McDonald's

On Thursday, Sept. 22, Aurora Christian Schools held a McTeacher's Night at the North Aurora McDonald's to raise money for toys for the preschool playroom.

Teachers took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to students and families to raise money. The Aurora Christian families all came to support their McTeacher Night fundraiser and the night was a huge success.

The McTeacher jobs included; drive-thru teachers, greeters, a very hard-working preschool and elementary school principal Scott Etchison, who worked hard cleaning the lobby. Other jobs included: front counter teachers, teachers making ice cream, and teachers making smoothies. There were even teachers serving the orders to families and many teachers singing for tips.

A special appearance by Ronald McDonald made the evening extra special. A very very special thank you goes out to admissions coordinator Michele Soulsby who organized the entire event.

McTeacher's Night was courtesy of the North Aurora McDonald's owner/operators, the Lardas family.
