Naperville attorney gets 60 day suspension

Naperville attorney Timothy John Coffey was suspended for 60 days following his conviction of driving under the influence of alcohol, orders from the Illinois Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission stated.

He later was charged with driving on a revoked license.

"In addition, he inadvertently deposited money belonging to a client into his business account and issued checks to the client prior to those funds being collected," the commission said.
