Pete Miller's Wheeling restaurant sold for $2.4 million

The recently shuttered Pete Miller's Steak House in Wheeling has been sold to a private investor for about $2.4 million

Marcus & Millichap in Oakbrook Terrace, the commercial real estate firm that listed the property, said the restaurant has 227,685-square-feet of land at 412 N. Milwaukee Avenue.

The Wheeling restaurant closed July 31 but another location remains open at 1557 Sherman Ave. in Evanston, according to the restaurant's website.

An unnamed private investor purchased the Wheeling property. Executives at Pete Miller's in Evanston could not be reached and Marcus & Millichap did not immediately respond to questions.
