Grain higher, livestock mixed

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for December delivery was 3.50 cents higher at $4.0760 a bushel; December corn was 4 cents higher at $3.4120 bushel; December oats was 2 cents higher at $1.75 a bushel; while November soybeans gained 14.50 cents to $9.8720 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle was .15 cent lower at $1.0775 a pound; September feeder cattle was .18 cent lower at $1.3563 pound; October lean hogs gained .28 cent to $.5520 a pound.
