Donate to pet supply collection drive in Mundelein

Junior Miss Mundelein Abby Hammer is collecting pet supplies to help Orphans of the Storm in Deerfield.

The Mundelein Pet Supply Drive is collecting shelter pet care packages at the Mundelein Park District, 1401 N. Midlothian Road during September.

Orphans of the Storm wish list includes: newspapers, blankets and comforters, towels/paper towels, dog bones, chew bones, treats, balls, cat trees, toys, beds, sturdy dog and cat combs and brushes, human baby food, wet and dry cat and dog food, cat litter, orthopedic beds and pillows, baking soda, industrial trash bags, dish soap, Mr. Clean, bleach, toilet brushes, laundry soap and dryer sheets, stereo system.

No cash donations are being accepted.

A donation table is set up just inside the park district building entrance.
