Girls cross country
Grant takes second: Grant finished in second place in the 16-team Crystal Lake South Invitational to champion Belvidere North.
Grant sophomore Danielle Osmon placed second with a 20:01.8, just behind first-place finisher Jenna Lutzow of Belvidere North (19:52).
Lake Zurich took sixth place in the meet.
Boys cross country
Grant finishes in Top 10: Grant placed ninth in the 16-team Crystal Lake South Invitational.
Senior John Schmidt was Grant's top individual finisher. He placed 26th with an 18:12.3.
Winner Jack Becker of Crystal Lake South finished in 16:20.5.
