Vernon Hills Invite: Vernon Hills took third place at its own invitational, led by Olivia Jazbutis, who got third place in No. 1 singles action.

Isabel Avial of Mundelein lost in the championship match of the No. 1 singles bracket to Asuka Kawai of Palatine, 6-1, 6-0. Kawai won the title for the third year in a row.

Mundelein got fourth place as a team, while Palatine won the championship.

Mundelein's No 1. doubles team of Kelli Cigelnik and Jessica Peterson took third place.

Wheeling Invite: Wauconda won both of its matches at the Wheeling Invite.

The Bulldogs defeated Streamwood, 5-0 and Wheeling, 3-2.

No. 1 singles player Emma Lewandowski got a 6-1, 6-1 win in the Streamwood match but lost 6-1, 7-5 against Wheeling.

The Bulldogs' No. 1 doubles team of Charlene Bernardo and Taylor Splingaire also split, getting a win against Streamwood but losing to Wheeling.
