U.S. Chamber names Naperville chief to committee
NAPERVILLE - Naperville Area Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Nicki Anderson was among 10 executives named to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Committee of 100.
The committee advises the U.S. Chamber's board of directors, enhance lobbying and coalition work, recommend programming, and strengthen outreach to the business and chamber communities.
"The CCC100 has a long-standing reputation as one of the most prestigious appointments in the chamber community," said Rob Engstrom, senior vice president and national political director at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. "These new members reflect our continued dedication to naming diverse, high-profile leaders to serve on this important committee."
Anderson will be attending her first meeting September 11-14 in Washington, D.C. Anderson joined the Chamber in 2014 and is focused on growing the organization based on quality, progressive business opportunities for new and seasoned Members. "As I close in on the end of my third year as CEO, it's an honor to be selected for the CCC100. I not only look forward to sharing ideas with Chamber colleagues from all over the country, but this is great opportunity to learn from more seasoned CEOs," said Anderson. "My involvement with this committee is yet one more step toward providing our Members with progressive, relevant leadership."
CCC100 members attend two exclusive meetings each year on leadership, policy, and best practices. Identifying emerging issues that will impact chambers and their members, CCC100 advises the U.S. Chamber on programs and services for chambers and provides feedback on policy-related issues.
