Expect only lip service from Franks

Lip service: an avowal of advocacy, adherence, or allegiance expressed in words but not backed by actions.

Jack Franks' website states the goal of his "Cut10 Plan": "reduce the County share of the property tax levy by 10 percent."

However, Franks is spreading an incorrect and misleading message throughout the county that as county board chair he would have control over your entire property tax bill including library, township, school district, village, etc.

Quoting Franks' Facebook posts:

"Really excited to have met so many taxpayers who support my plan to cut property taxes by 10% countywide at my ice cream social in the Lake in the Hills on Tuesday night!"

"Thrilled to see so much support at McHenry Fiesta Days yesterday for my plan to cut property taxes in our communities by at least 10 percent!"

Lip service and mistruth are all we should expect from Jack Franks, not lower taxes.
