Girls volleyball: South Elgin falls to Schaumburg
Hayley Fisher had 8 kills and 7 digs and Taylor Hankins added 7 kills and 5 digs for South Elgin in a 25-21, 20-25, 25-20 nonconference girls volleyball loss to Schaumburg Thursday.
Sarah Murray also had 7 digs for the Storm.
Glenbard North d. Elgin: Sofia Mari had 2 aces, 6 digs, 7 assists and 2 kills for Elgin in a 25-20, 25-13 nonconference defeat. Inga Suceska (4 kills), Kylie Graves (3 kills) and Maddie Schaefer (2 digs, 3 kills) also contributed for the Maroons (0-2).
