Let's drop the spin and vote on records

During any election cycle, truths, half truths and outright lies are lobbed between opposing parties. Prior to the RNC convention and continuing full force since, Hillary Clinton has been painted as an untrustworthy, lying politician. While I have issues with her myself, PolitiFact, a Pulitzer Prize-winning fact checking organization, found Mrs. Clinton to have the best truth-telling record of all 2016 candidates. Jill Abramson, former editor of The New York Times, who spent years investigating Mrs. Clinton, found her to be fundamentally honest. So, knowing this, maybe we can move beyond this piece of rhetoric and vote for the candidates based on their platforms, beliefs and records instead of the negative spin so common in the election cycle.
