Why the obsession with Melania's speech?

I first heard it on MSNBC late Monday night. Chris Matthews was going on about a similarity in speeches offered by Ms. Obama eight years ago and what Ms. Trump just offered at the RNC.

His thoughts were that Ms. Trump used the words of Ms. Obama from 2008. Rubbish! Over half the people I know could have offered the same words and from their own minds. And, this rubbish message is still being offered on MSNBC at 1 p.m. the next day.

My concern with all the real situations that need attention, the news media has to kick this rubbish around for 12 hours and possibly longer. Any idea why we have so many "real problems" today that are not being attended to? How about so many folks in the news media that are not mature enough to see them, hence, we still have many of the same major concerns we had eight years ago, only worse.

In those real concerns, most levels of our government spend more of our tax payer dollars then we tax payers can contribute. Plus, the terrorism that has been hitting some of our city's like police being killed. Not to worry Chris, the assumed possibility that a speech was copied is more important to you?
