New recreation supervisor at Des Plaines Park District
The Des Plaines Park District has hired a new recreation supervisor to oversee preschool programs, among other areas.
Jeanette Berard, who previously was the early childhood and youth coordinator at the Mount Prospect Park District, will be responsible for the Des Plaines Park District's Creative Corners preschool program, early childhood classes, Spanish preschool program, Teen Center Des Plaines, summer camps, and special events for ages 3 to 10, officials said.
She will report to Jennifer Boys, the assistant superintendent of recreation.
