Exxon Mobil Corp., down $3.09 to $85.86

Energy companies traded lower as the price of oil continued its weeks-long plunge.

SolarCity Corp., down $1.98 to $24.72

Tesla Motors agreed to buy the solar panel maker, but the price of $2.6 billion disappointed investors.

Fleetmatics Group PLC, up $16.63 to $59.59

The maker of software used to manage vehicle fleets agreed to be bought by Verizon Communications for $2.4 billion.

Ionis Pharmaceuticals Inc., up $8.82 to $38.01

The company said a drug that treats spinal muscular atrophy in infants worked in a clinical trial.

Caesars Entertainment Corp., up 46 cents to $7.36

The company agreed to sell its social and mobile gaming unit to a Chinese consortium for $4.4 billion.

First Data Corp., up 62 cents to $13.02

The electronic commerce and payment services company posted a larger profit than analysts expected.

Patriot National Inc., up $1.60 to $9.49

The provider of services to workers' compensation insurers said it received a new buyout offer from Ebix worth about $255 million.

Alexion Pharmaceuticals Inc., up $4.90 to $133.50

Health care companies made the biggest gains on Monday.
