Jaguars' Lee back on sideline with another hamstring injury

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - Oft-injured receiver Marqise Lee stayed healthy for one day in training camp.

The Jacksonville Jaguars held Lee out of practice Friday with a left hamstring injury, the latest setback for a third-year pro who can't seem to stay on the field.

Lee has missed significant time with ankle, hamstring and knee injuries. He practiced so little last summer that offensive coordinator Greg Olson said Lee was "like the albino tiger at the zoo. If you get there and you're lucky enough to get him to come out of the cave and see him, it's a good day."

Lee embraced the nickname, but had hoped to make it part of his past and not a pattern. Now, he's back on the sideline.

"It was very disappointing," Lee said after practice Friday. "You never want to sit out. But it's nothing crazy. That's the biggest thing. I felt a little (hamstring) fatigue, and they decided to shut me down."

A second-round draft pick in 2014, Lee has 52 catches for 613 yards and two touchdowns in two seasons. He had just 15 receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown last year, falling well behind Allen Robinson, Allen Hurns and maybe even rookie Rashad Greene on the depth chart.

And now he's not even on the field.

"It's not going to be for an extended period of time, but we're going to be cautious with it and make sure that we do our due diligence," coach Gus Bradley said. "We're going to be more cautious than anything. ... We'll be smart with him and bring him back, and hopefully shortly, he'll be fine."

Running back T.J. Yeldon (right ankle) also was held out.
