Plum Healthcare names Medline an exclusive supplier

MUNDELEIN - Plum Healthcare Group has awarded Medline a new exclusive distribution agreement for the 30 skilled nursing facilities it supports in Northern California.

During the three-year partnership, the global medical supplies manufacturer and distributor is providing facilities with cost savings on medical supplies, such as the FitRight Briefs line from Medline. Additionally, Plum Healthcare Group is also using the Medline Remedy Phytoplex line, which incorporates a blend of plant-based ingredients to clean, moisturize and protect skin. The facilities can access on online tool called Medline INSIGHT when looking up these and a vast portfolio of products to better understand general and specific information about purchases, usage, pricing, orders and shipment status - all in real time.

While the prime vendor partnership with Plum Healthcare Group is new, President Nick Anderson worked with Medline in previous supply chain roles within Plum Healthcare. When he officially became president in early 2016, he presented Plum Healthcare Group with the prime vendor opportunity to build upon Medline's proven track record of delivering high quality products, industry knowledge and supply chain management tools.

The contract is effective through December 31, 2019.
