Save the Date: Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest is September 17
The Elmhurst Heritage Foundation and the Rotary Club of Elmhurst are proud to host the second annual Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest on Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 12 to 5 p.m., on the grounds of the Elmhurst History Museum, located at 120 E. Park Ave. in Elmhurst.
Last year, the inaugural Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest was a major hit with beer lovers from the area attracting more than 400 guests to the event. Building on that enthusiastic response, the 2016 Elmhurst Craft Beer Fest will feature over 50 craft beers from 30 breweries through¬out the greater Chicagoland area. Tickets are $50 after September 10 or at the gate. A VIP ticket allows early entry to the fest from 12-1 p.m. for an additional $15. Designated Driver price is $20. The ticket price includes a souvenir tasting glass, 18 tasting tickets, a chance to win great door prizes, and light snacks. The first 200 attendees will receive a $5 coupon good for food and beverages on the day of the event at participating Elmhurst City Centre bars and eateries.
New this year: Barbeque Jim's Smokehouse Food Truck will be on site and the Elmhurst Express Trolley will be making its usual rounds through Elmhurst. So if you live near a trolley stop, you can leave your car at home!

Funds generated from the fest will benefit the Elmhurst Heritage Foundation's work for the Elmhurst History Museum exhibits and Churchville One-Room Schoolhouse living history education program as well as the Rotary Club of Elmhurst's service projects.
