4 people killed in California small plane crash at airport

COLUMBIA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in northern California say a small private plane crashed at the airport in the town of Columbia, killing all four people on board.

The Tuolumne County Sheriff's Department says the plane crashed and was fully engulfed in flames.

Tuolumne-Calaveras Cal Fire said the crash Wednesday caused a small vegetation fire that was quickly extinguished.
