Positive story on Trump was ignored
Negative: "convention did little to reassure doubters" Untrue. If anyone watched it to the end, they were reassured.
It was a story of a multiple generation family, and their love, accomplishments and ties to one another, from the little Baron Trump, to the tales of Donald Trump's father's impact and mentoring of him. His loyalty to so many people he has worked with, and cared for, more as a caring friend, than an ultrarich boss.
Anyone who wrote that headline didn't watch the convention to the end. Doubters are actually in a small minority, more committed to some other extraneous agenda, or unqualified candidate. (Ted Cruz did a dive off a bridge in the final day).
There was a positive story to tell. Too bad your writers went to bed or perhaps never wanted to say a positive word about Trump. He is loud, proud and outspoken, sometimes not aware enough of his impact on people, but he is genuine, and loves America, unlike our current president, and is honest and has a value system, again, unlike his opponent, Hillary, who will never live down Benghazi or the story of the video, which was a poorly played lie by our secretary of state.
And one that got people killed as a result.
