UND football team picked 4th, 5th in preseason Big Sky polls

GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) - The University of North Dakota football team has been picked to finish fourth in the Big Sky Conference by the media and fifth by the coaches.
The Fighting Hawks are coming off a season in which they finished tied for fourth in the league with a 5-3 conference record. The team was 7-4 overall.
Northern Arizona tops both preseason polls.
UND opens the 2016 season at Stony Brook on Thursday, Sept. 1.
