USC backup CB Langley suspended for season opener vs Alabama

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Southern California sophomore cornerback Isaiah Langley has been suspended for the Trojans' season opener against Alabama.

USC confirmed the suspension Tuesday, declining to divulge details.

The Los Angeles Times reports that Langley was arrested in May at a fraternity party at UCLA on suspicion of three misdemeanor charges. He is expected to enter a diversion program.

Langley appeared in 11 games as a freshman backup cornerback last season, making 12 tackles.
