3 Illinois women, child killed in Florida car crash

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Three Illinois women and a young boy are dead after their car ran off a Florida highway and into a pond.

Sgt. Kim Montes of the Florida Highway Patrol said Saturday that a car driven by 27-year-old Vanyunna Wiggins of Urbana, Illinois, was heading south on Interstate 95 near Daytona Beach on Friday when it suddenly veered off the road and into the pond, where it overturned and sank.

Also killed were 67-year-old Katie Davis, 32-year-old Cashundra Wiggins and Caius Davis, all of Champaign. Montes said Caius' age hasn't been learned, but he appeared to be between 3 and 5. Montes said the women's relationship hasn't been determined.
