37th annual Freedom Classic 5K
The 37th annual Freedom Classic 5K will be at 8 a.m. Monday, July 4, at Keith Mione Community Park, 1401 N. Midlothian Road, Mundelein. The event presented by the Mundelein Park & Recreation District includes a free half-mile youth run at 9 a.m. for kids aged 4 to 10. Registration is $35 through July 1 (online only) at signmeup.com/110894. On-site registration is 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 3 at the Mundelein Community Center in the park and from 6 to 7:45 a.m. race day. Fee is $40. The first 500 registered participants receive a T-shirt.
