Three CDW board members resign

LINCOLNSHIRE — Glenn Creamer and Michael Dominguez of Providence Equity Partners, and Robin Selati of Madison Dearborn Partners have resigned from CDW Corp. s board of directors.

The resignations come as part of the two equity firms' reduced investment in the global IT solutions company.

“We thank Glenn, Michael and Rob for their valuable service to CDW and insight driving our public offering in 2013 as well as other significant company milestones,” said Thomas E. Richards, CDW chairman and CEO. “Providence and MDP have been outstanding partners over the last nine years. Their contributions to our growth strategy have helped CDW become the leading IT solutions provider to more than 250,000 customers in the U.S., Canada and the U.K., and the partner of choice for more than 1,000 technology brands.”

CDW's board now has 11 directors, including recent additions Virginia Albanese, president and chief executive officer of FedEx Custom Critical, James Bell, retired executive vice president of The Boeing Company, Lynda Clarizio, president of U.S. Media for Nielsen, and Joseph Swedish, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Anthem, Inc., who were appointed in 2015 and 2016.
