Bicyclist injured after being hit by vehicle in Arlington Heights
A female bicyclist was taken to Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights Monday morning with injuries that didn't appear to be life-threatening after she was hit by a vehicle near the intersection of Northwest Highway and Highland Avenue, police said.
The bicyclist appeared to be traveling westbound in a cross walk just after 7 a.m. when she was struck by an eastbound vehicle attempting a left turn, according to Arlington Heights police.
No citations have been issued yet as police continue to investigate.
