Shooting wounds 4 in Chicago, including pregnant woman

CHICAGO (AP) - Authorities in Chicago say four people were injured including a 19-year-old pregnant woman after a shooting on the city's South Side.

The shooting in the Morgan Park neighborhood happened when someone emerged from a building and began firing into a group of people standing outside. The shooter then fled in an older model sedan, police said.

Chicago Fire Department Deputy District Chief Jeff Lyle said one woman shot midday Saturday is three months pregnant.

Three of the four victims were seriously injured, two with gunshot wounds in the back and the third in the buttocks. The fourth person was shot in the leg and did not have life threatening injuries. None of the victims were identified.

No suspects were in custody, police said.
