Out to Lunch in Libertyville begins Friday
MainStreet Libertyville's Out to Lunch program downtown in Cook Park begins Friday, June 24. From 11 a.m. to 2 p. m. each Friday through Aug. 19, visitors can enjoy food and music. Burgers, brats, Mexican specialties, pizza, kebabs, sandwiches, wraps, salads and dessert are available. The Twang kicks off the music this season, with Sipos & Young Band on July 1; Bad Penny on July 8; Mojo Daddies on July 15; Sneezy on July 22; and Pie Eyed Pete Cimbalo on July 29. New this year is free shuttle bus service from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. that will run on a continuous route from the Crawford warming house on Lake Street to the Newberry Avenue Metra lot to Cook Park.
