Motorcyclist hurt in Volo crash

A motorcyclist was injured in a Monday evening crash in Volo, fire officials said.

The crash happened at about 5:20 p.m. in the intersection of Route 12 and Volo Village Road, Wauconda Fire Battalion Chief Pat Kane said.

"When we got there the bike was standing up," Kane said. "(The driver) was in the ambulance and talking to our guys."

It wasn't clear if another vehicle was involved in the crash, Kane said. The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with minor injuries, he said.
