'The Bradley' among possible Rosemont hotel names
Rosemont officials are soliciting the public for feedback on possible names for a planned boutique hotel in a new mixed-use development.
The village recently sent out an online survey on behalf of the Janko Group, which is developing the 5-story, 163-room building at The Pearl, a planned dining and shopping complex south of Balmoral Avenue and west of the Tri-State Tollway.
Among the possible names: The Bradley - perhaps a nod to Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens - ROSY, The Rose, The Black Pearl, The Trellis, District, Runway Hotel and Dash.
The hotel will be the closest to O'Hare International Airport after the Hilton Chicago O'Hare.
Construction of streets and utilities is now taking place. Development of The Pearl is expected to be complete in the summer or fall of 2017.
