Second Annual Neighborhood Block Party Hosted by Senior Star at Weber Place

ROMEOVILLE, IL (June 14, 2016) - With the success of last year's inaugural event, Senior Star at Weber Place is excited to host its second neighborhood block party beginning at 1:30 pm on Saturday, June 25 at 605 South Edward Drive, Romeoville.

The line-up is one for all ages with a schedule of events to include:

1:30 p.m. Performance by "Elvis"

2 p.m. Kids Games, Dunk Tank, Food Trucks

2 p.m. Performance by the band, Bossy Dog

4 p.m. Chicago Youth Flipside Acrobatics

Game tickets may be purchased at the event - five for $3 or 10 for $5. There is no charge to attend the event. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter.

"We are excited to host the community for our second multi-generational summer outing," said Tom Johnsrud, executive director at Senior Star at Weber Place. "Last year's event was such a great day with a variety of activities allowing our residents, their families and our neighbors to enjoy the day together while also supporting a significant cause very important to Senior Star … the Alzheimer's Association."
