Grand Army of the Republic Hall and Museum reopens in Aurora

The Grand Army of the Republic Hall and Museum in Aurora reopened Memorial Day after being closed for 20 years and under renovation for 15 years.

From about 1 to 3 p.m. Monday, the hall offered tours. Post 20 was completed in 1878 for the sum of $7,184.54, according to the city's website, and was Aurora's first free library.
