Adam Nemec scores 2 for Slovakia in 3-1 win over Georgia

WELS, Austria (AP) - Adam Nemec struck twice to lead Slovakia to a 3-1 victory over Georgia on Friday in a warmup match for the European Championship.

Nemec, who plays for Willem II Tilburg in the Dutch league, collected a through ball to open the scoring five minutes into the game.

In the 57th, he headed in his second before Adam Zrelak made it 3-0 from a free kick in the 71st.

Levan Kenia pulled one back for Georgia seconds later.

Slovakia has a more serious test Sunday in a friendly against Germany and concludes its Euro 2016 preparations in a home match against Northern Ireland on June 4.

The team starts the tournament in France against Wales on June 11. Russia and England are also in Group B.
