Grain higher, livestock lower

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Friday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 0.25 cents a bale lower at $4.6840 a bushel; July corn was 4 cents higher at $3.94 bushel; July oats was .25 cent higher at $1.8840 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 5.50 cents to $10.77 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .43 cent lower at $1.2113 a pound; May feeder cattle was .18 cent higher at $1.4845 a pound; June lean hogs lost .63 cent to $.7980 a pound.
