Grain lower, livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) - Grain futures were higher Tuesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery was 7.50 cents a bale higher at $4.8220 a bushel; July corn was 2.25 cents higher at $3.9620 bushel; July oats was .50 cent higher at $1.9760 a bushel; while July soybeans gained 16 cents to $10.8040 a bushel.

Beef lower and pork prices were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was .33 cent lower at $1.2270 a pound; May feeder cattle was .23 cents lower at $1.4888 a pound; June lean hogs lost .05 cent to $.8298 a pound.
