Chicago crime taking greater toll than ISIS

Over the weekend, Chicago experienced just another run-of-the-mill tragedy that seems to never let up. Simultaneously, President Obama ordered another 250 Special Op Forces to help the Kurds fight ISIS in Syria. Unless my math is errant, haven't we seen more carnage in Chicago by domestic terrorists than all the combined killings of Americans by ISIS since it began its murderous rampage in that country? Perhaps Chicago's mayor should exercise his clout with the president to redirect these forces to Chicago to assist law enforcement in the Midwest rather than in the Mideast.
