Girls soccer: Victories for Round Lake, Antioch, Lake Zurich

Alexandria Wawrzyniak scored the winning goal off a penalty kick as Round Lake's girls soccer team topped Johnsburg 1-0 in a nonconference matchup Friday.

Goalie Giselle Raygoza had 6 saves for the Panthers.

Antioch 2, Alleman 2: At the Freeport tournament, Antioch fell behind 2-0 early but tied the score by halftime.

Alleman then won on penalty kicks.

Megan Helgesen and Courtney Coleman each scored for Antioch, which is now 5-4 on the season.

Coleman now has 14 goals on the season.

Goalie Monica Wilhelm had 3 saves for the Sequoits.

Lake Zurich 1, Elgin 0: At the Knights Invite, Lake Zurich earned the shutout victory.

Emily Udelhoven scored the Bears' only goal off an assist by Becca Kubin.

Goalie Madison Hart had 1 save for Lake Zurich, which moves to 8-2-1 on the season.
