Attorney named to Lake County bench

Attorney Janelle K. Christensen has been appointed an associate Lake County circuit court judge, officials announced Friday. Christensen fills a vacancy created by the appointment of Associate Judge Christopher Stride to judge. Christensen has been with the Lake County state's attorney's office since 2006, most recently working in the civil division.
