'Good Wife' star bringing new book to Naperville

The star of TV's “The Good Wife,” Julianna Margulies, is coming to Naperville next month to promote her new children's book, “Three Magic Balloons.”

Margulies is scheduled to appear for the book signing at 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at Anderson's Bookshop, 123 W. Jefferson Ave. Her visit will come just one week after the airing of the series finale of her hit CBS show.

Margulies will be joined by the book's illustrator, Grant Shaffer. To reserve your spot in the signing line, visit threemagicballoonsandersons.brownpapertickets.com. Tickets include a copy of the book.

“Three Magic Balloons” features a story Margulies says her father wrote for her and her sisters when they were children. It centers on a Saturday trip to a children's zoo by three sisters and their father and a mysterious balloon man whose wares contain magic.

Margulies won an Emmy Award for her work on the NBC medical drama “ER” before starring as Alicia Florrick on “The Good Wife” beginning in 2009. Since then she's won two more Emmys, as well as a Golden Globe and Television Critics Association Award.
