Metea Valley 6, Aurora Christian 3:
Anthony Greco went 2-for-3 with a home run as the Mustangs (7-7) won in nonconference play. Blake Nicolls drove in 2 runs while Jack Dziewiatkowski went 3-for-3. Mitch Reyes picked up the win and Seth Billadeu earned the save.
Glenbard East 13, West Aurora 10:
The Rams (11-5, 2-0) rallied from a 4-1 deficit and held on late in the Upstate Eight Valley. Richard Masciopinto and Michael Sebby each had 2 hits while Masciopinto and winning pitcher Jake Heyman drove in 2 runs.
Glenbard West 5, Glenbard North 0:
Winning pitcher Cole Brady and Kolin Kennebeck, who pitched the seventh, combined on the nonconference shutout for the Hilltoppers (5-9). Kevin Spencer and R.J. Paul each had 2 hits. Zach Heck and Zach Bachara went 2-for-3 for Glenbard North (4-13).
Neuqua Valley 10, Lockport 5:
A 6-run top of the first inning led the Wildcats (7-6) to the nonconference win. James Gargano went 2-for-4 with a home run. Will Drake had 3 hits and 2 RBI. Jake Anderson also drove in 2 runs. James Kulak pitched 5 innings to earn the victory.
Willowbrook 11, Leyden 1:
The Warriors (7-7, 4-2) rolled in five innings to take two of three in the West Suburban Gold series. Kyle Martyniuk went 3-for-3 with a double and triple. T.J. Geritano and Kyle Ferguson drove in 3 runs apiece. Winning pitcher Alec Michaelson allowed 2 hits and no earned runs while striking out three.
Downers South 11, Hinsdale Central 4:
The Mustangs (7-6) exploded for 7 second-inning runs in the West Suburban crossover. Eight players had hits, including 2 by Danny Oriente, Ty McCulloch and Cameron Crowley. Corey Vondra was the winning pitcher.
