Bike resale in Antioch
The Antioch Parks and Recreation department will host the annual bike resale from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday, April 16, at the parks building gym, 806 Holbek Drive, Antioch. It is an opportunity to get old bikes and various other equipment out of the garage or find new stuff to put in it. Bikes, trykes, scooters, skateboards, burleys, rollerblades/skates, bike accessories, helmets/pads will be accepted. Bikes have been priced as low as $5 and as high as $150. Sellers can drop off their items from 4 to 8 p.m. at the gym. A 10 percent event fee will be charged. Unsold items must be picked up by noon. Cash only. Call (847) 838-4330.
