Watch Wrigley Field marquee reinstalled in time-lapse video

The iconic Wrigley Field marquee was carefully reinstalled Wednesday afternoon after renovations in the off-season.

The marquee was introduced to the park in the 1930s, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. Back then the sign was green. The red sign now seen that reads "Wrigley Field, Home of Chicago Cubs," was installed in the 1960s. A Toyota sponsorship appeared under the sign last year, the Sun-Times reports.

The marquee came down in November as part of the second year of a five-year renovation plan for the stadium built in 1914, the Sun-Times says.

The Cubs' season home opener is Monday.
