WTHS holds fifth annual Live Arts Festival
Warren Township High School will hold its fifth annual Live Arts Festival from 6-9:45 p.m. Friday, April 1, at the WTHS Almond Campus, 34090 N. Almond Road, Gurnee, sponsored by My Eye Xpert of Gurnee.
Celebrate the fine arts programs of WTHS with student-led performances and workshops all night.
The evening will feature food and drinks, interactive workshops and demonstrations, caricatures, shirt decorating, face painting, an artwork display, balloon art, an art contest and a photo booth.
Performers will include the WTHS Symphonic Band I, Jazz Ensemble, Vocal Velocity, Speech Team, Giggles and Bits Improv Comedy Troupe, Motion Sickness Dance Groups, Special Preview Performances of this Year's Musical "Mary Poppins" and more.
Warren Theatre will present the magical tale of "Mary Poppins" at 7 p.m. April 28-30 and 2 p.m. April 30 in the O'Plaine Auditorium.
Admission to the Live Arts Festival is free. Tickets for "Mary Poppins" are $10 for adults; $5 for students, children, and seniors; and free for Warren students with an activity pass.
