CLC hosts job fair

Jobseekers are invited to attend the College of Lake County's annual JobMarketPlace job fair, 1 to 5 p.m., April 8, in the P.E. Center, Building 7, 19351 W. Washington St., Grayslake. Eighty-five employers will participate in the fair, sponsored by the CLC Career and Job Placement Center. A panel of employers will speak from 11 a.m. to noon in Room A162. Human resource professionals from the following firms will participate: Comfort Keepers, Frito Lay, Goodwill Talent Bridge, Lake County Health Department, MBX Systems, McLane Food Service, Metalex Manufacturing, The Navy Exchange and village of Round Lake Beach. The representatives will offer insights on their hiring practices and give tips on resumes, interviews and effective follow-up. No reservation is required, but seating is limited.
