4-day Lollapalooza passes go quickly
A variety of four-day passes went on sale at 10 a.m. this morning for this summer's Lollapalooza music festival.
The $355 four-day general admission passes sold out quickly, but the $4,200 platinum passes are still available. Single-day passes will go on sale Wednesday morning for $120, with VIP passes going for $650.
The popular music festival, which will be held July 28-31 in Chicago's Grant Park, will feature more than 170 bands on eight stages. The lineups have not yet been announced, but Billboard magazine reports that Radiohead, Red Hot Chili Peppers, LCD Soundsystem, Lana Del Rey and J. Cole will be among the headliners.
The VIP four-day pass, for $2,200, includes access to the Lolla Lounges, golf shuttle transportation, viewing platforms, catered food, all-day beer, wine and specialty libations, mini spa treatments, shaded and relaxed lounge seating, and reserved air-conditioned restrooms.
The $4,200 platinum four-day pass includes an air-conditioned platinum-only hospitality area, free food and drinks, access to platinum-only viewing areas on the four main stages, dedicated platinum pass golf cart transportation, air-conditioned restrooms, an on-site concierge and a gift bag of exclusive festival merchandise.
This year marks Lollapalooza's 25th anniversary.
