Indian Trails Library closes for year on Sunday

A reminder to residents of the Indian Trails Library District that the main library in Wheeling will close at 5 p.m. Sunday in order to undergo $14.4 million in renovations before reopening in spring 2017. During the year of construction, much of the library's collection will be temporarily housed at 70 W. Dundee Road, Buffalo Grove, in the Dundee Point Shopping Center on the northwest corner of Buffalo Grove and Dundee roads. That temporary library will open on April 4. During the two weeks before the Buffalo Grove temporary library opens, hours at the library's Prospect Heights branch, 99 E. Palatine Road, will be extended.
