Vernon Hills 12, Northridge Prep 0: Pitcher Joe Rangel got the win for Vernon Hills while Andrew Smith and Sam Perlin came on in relief to preserve the shutout.

Offensively, Vernon Hills got 2 hits out of Brennan Reback and Rangel.

Lake Zurich 13, Vernon Hills 3: On Wednesday, an 8-run fourth inning fueled Lake Zurich.

Austin Wells had 2 hits to lead Lake Zurich. Nick Sanders and Matt Svanson each drove in 2 runs.

Svanson and Kyle McGee had doubles while Wells had a triple.

Pitcher Ben Cornelius got the win.

Lakes 11, Waukegan 1: Stephen Mogged and Ben Milewski each had 3 hits for Lakes while Ryan Selig and Max Swiatek added 2 hits apiece. Pitcher Jack Christensen got the win. He allowed 2 hits over 4 innings.

Grayslake North 8, Johnsburg 2: Bobby Krebs and Brendan Taskovic led Grayslake North with 3 hits apiece while Jake Damore, Danny Yates and Alex Carrillo had 2 hits each.

Trajan Castro was the winning pitcher.
