Girls water polo

Sam Wooley scored 6 goals and Paulina Chowaniec had 4 as Conant remained unbeaten in girls water polo with an 11-9 victory over Barrington on Wednesday in Mid-Suburban West play.

Mia Latimer paced Barrington with 6 goals.

Claire Rosas stopped 6 shots in goals for the Cougars, and Ellie Connors had 5 saves for the Fillies.

Hersey 7, Rolling Meadows 2: The Huskies limited the Mustangs to 1 goal in each half in claiming an MSL East victory.

Fremd 11, Palatine 4: Emily Kini and Paulina Pappas had 3 goals apiece to help the host Vikings prevail in MSL West action.

Jenessa Islas-Parker and Karolina Urban each scored twice for Fremd, and goalie Emma Jeronimus stopped 10 shots.

Prospect 9, Wheeling 3: Colleen Doyle (3 goals) and Gracie Dix and Kirsten Chamberlin (2 apiece) carried the scoring load as the Knights picked up an MSL East triumph.

Mary Clare McAleer stopped 11 shots for Prospect.

Schaumburg 6, Hoffman Estates 2: Hannah Pearson scored twice for Schaumburg, which didn't allow any scoring after giving up first-period scores to the Hawks' Jenny Fermaintt and Francia Morales-Diaz.
