Woodland Wishes fundraiser date set

Gurnee-based Woodland Educational Foundation will host its annual fundraiser at 6:30 p.m. April 2. The eighth annual Woodland Wishes will feature a casino night and bidding on a variety of items at Gurnee Park District's Hunt Club Community Center, 920 N. Hunt Club Road, Gurnee. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at all Woodland schools and the Woodland Educational Support Center at 1105 N. Hunt Club Road. Tickets purchased in advance also get five raffle tickets at the door. Those attending must be 21 years of age or older. Proceeds from the auction are used to support requests from Woodland Elementary District 50 staff to fund innovative projects, technology and increased opportunities with the arts, science and extracurricular activities.
