Misleading Kirk ads increase fears

The TV ad from Mark Kirk about Tammy Duckworth is totally despicable. How can anyone with a sense of decency call her commitment to the security of this country into question?

When Kirk was safely in Washington, she was on the front lines fighting Iraqi insurgents, nearly dying and losing both legs.

Syrian passports? Newsweek reports that it's likely the passport found was fake. Officials have not made any public statements on the passport confirming or denying its authenticity. Why would an attacker leave a Syrian passport?"

Charlie Winter, who formerly worked with the counter-extremism organization Quilliam, made the point that ISIS may have planted the passport as a fear tactic. "Why would a jihadist who expressly rejects all notions of modern citizenship take his passport on a suicide mission? So it gets found," he tweeted.

So Kirk is attempting to create exactly what ISIS wants - fear.
